1. Apply and have an intake conversation

   Once you apply by email we work out which tasks you can demonstrate and in what setting. The layout of your home and your daily routine are what make the data diverse, so there are no special requirements.

2. You set your own consent scope

   You choose item by item whether commercial training is allowed, how far third-party provision goes, and whether face and voice are included. Anything you do not select is not collected. You can withdraw at any time.

3. Receive the equipment and learn to wear it

   We lend you the rig for your task free of charge. Wearing and calibration take about 30 minutes to get used to, and we run the first session together.

4. Demonstrate in 30-minute sessions

   The task sheet sets out the success conditions and edge cases. Just do it the way you normally would. Failed attempts have value as data too, so we do not delete them.

5. Approval after quality checks

   We check hand-tracking confidence and occlusion segments, then approve or reject. We always share the reason for a rejection, and rejections caused by equipment faults are not deducted from your payment.

6. Payment based on approved hours

   We settle on the basis of approved hours. Rates vary with task difficulty and rig tier, and we tell you the rate in advance when you apply.

Will my face be recorded?

The egocentric rig does not record the wearer's face. A face can only be included if you opt into simultaneous third-person filming, which is a separate item in the consent form. If you do not select it, we do not assign you to third-person sessions.

Will the inside of my home be recorded as it is?

Household tasks are captured in real living spaces. We agree the filming area with you in advance and exclude any zone that must not be recorded. You can review the footage yourself before approval.

If I withdraw, what happens to data already sold?

The session is removed from versions distributed after the point of withdrawal. However, it cannot technically be removed from the weights of a model that has already trained on it. We tell you about this limitation before taking your consent.

Can minors take part?

Under-14s require the consent of a legal guardian, and child body-profile data is only captured with a guardian present. For now we are recruiting adult contributors only.

Can I start right away?

The first pilot capture is planned to begin in Q4 2026. We are taking early applications now and will contact people in order once the schedule is confirmed.
