Terms of Service

Right now this site only provides information and receives enquiries. There is no sign-up, login, payment or subscription — so we have not written clauses for any of them. Terms for trading data will be settled separately before the first contract.

What this site does

Article 1 (Purpose): These terms set the conditions for using the information and the enquiry facility provided by the Aeffer website.
Article 2 (Scope of service): What we currently provide is an introduction to the business, information on capture methods and rigs, a 3D viewer of synthetic samples, the schema reference, and receipt of enquiries by email. There is no sign-up, login, payment or subscription.
Article 3 (Synthetic samples): Every motion shown in the viewer is procedurally generated synthetic data, not captured data. Each frame is marked pose_source=3. Do not cite or redistribute it as measured data.
Article 4 (Nature of published information): Capture schedules, dataset plans and rig specifications reflect what we knew when we researched them and may change. They are not contractual promises; actual terms are set in each individual contract.
Article 5 (Copyright): The documents, diagrams, logo and viewer code on this site belong to Cizion Inc. Please credit the source when quoting.
Article 6 (Enquiries): We receive enquiries by email. We use what you send only to handle your enquiry, and we do not use it for marketing without separate consent.
Article 7 (Disclaimer): We work to keep the information here accurate, but errors are possible. We accept no liability for the outcome of decisions made on the basis of it. If you find an error, please tell us.

What these terms do not cover

The relationship of supplying or buying data is set by a separate contract, not by these terms.

Contributors — capture scope, payment, likeness rights and withdrawal are set by the Contributor Agreement and your individual consent form.
Buyers — scope of use, redistribution and overseas transfer are set by the licence agreement.
